Solar installations are still are good investment for the future
Saturday, November 26th, 2011With the feed in tariff being slashed by over 50%, doom and gloom has set in regarding the installation of solar PV. However, this is not the end for solar installation, far from it. Solar installation must not be thought of, or sold as, a financial investment alone, although the system will save you money throughout its lifetime. All solar installations have a 25 year feed in tariff, so even at 21p per KW, it’s still a good deal. Okay, not as good as 43p, but that was never going to last and was only put up as kick start for the industry. All solar installations come with a warranty to be at least 90% efficient for 10 years and 80% at 25 years. Considering the solar installation will last a lot longer than the 25 years and the cost of buying electricity from the network will only increase, solar installations are still a very good investment for the future. Bundy’s Electrical can still supply and fit Solar installations in Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales, at attractive prices.

Sharp’s new 250W solar panels
Wednesday, August 10th, 2011Sharp have now launched their new 250W solar panels, following the success of their very popular 245W solar panels. The new panels are the same dimensions as the 245′s and are ideal for the home owner with limited roof space. Bundy’s Electrical have recently fitted these new solar panels, at a property in Rossett.
Sharp Solar Panels production news
Saturday, July 23rd, 2011Sharp have been manufacturing solar panels since 1963. The production lines for solar panels are based in Japan, USA and just outside Chester in Wrexham. Their expected production for 2011 is 2.8 Giga Watt. With their new 245Watt mono crystalline solar panels, now with MC4 connections, are proving to be popular with installers and consumers alike.
Bundy’s Electrical are pleased to be able to provide excellent, competitive quotes for these highly popular solar panels.
Solar energy. The price is right
Monday, June 20th, 2011Even though demand is far greater than supply, the cost of Sharp monocrystalline panels have seen a price drop this month. The new Sharp 245 KWP panels are proving to be excellent in maximising output where available roof space is limited. SMA ‘s Sunny boy inverters have also seen a price drop in recent weeks. With the new increase in the feed in tariff for retro fit systems, now is the best time to invest in solar energy. With unstable economic markets and the rise in raw materials, production and transportation, it is unlikely these prices will remain for long. Bundy’s Electrical will give free, no obligation quotations for large or small installations and they recommend you act fast, whilst the price is right.
