Solar energy. The price is right

Monday, June 20th, 2011

Even though demand is far greater than supply, the cost of Sharp monocrystalline panels have seen a price drop this month. The new Sharp 245 KWP panels are proving to be excellent in maximising output where available roof space is limited. SMA ‘s Sunny boy inverters have also seen a price drop in recent weeks. With the new increase in the feed in tariff for retro fit systems, now is the best time to invest in solar energy. With unstable economic markets and the rise in raw materials, production and transportation, it is unlikely these prices will remain for long. Bundy’s Electrical will give free, no obligation quotations for large or small installations and they recommend you act fast, whilst the price is right.

Retro fit LED lamps

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

With the demise of the tungsten filament lamp, the LED market is now taking centre stage. Bundy’s Electrical can now offer a complete retro fit of all types of lamps in LED. Particularly GU10 halogen lamps, which are prevalent in most down lights and bar or track lighting systems. These GU10 fittings often have poor lamp life qualities. Super bright LED’s with long life (often 30,000hrs or more) are more energy efficient, cost effective and give a better colour rendering than most GU10 fittings.

Solar panel prices held against the Euro

Saturday, May 7th, 2011

With fluctuations of the pound against the Euro, Bundy’s Electrical have managed to agree set prices for solar panels with their suppliers. Top rated brands including Sharp, Mitshibishi and schuco solar panels, as well as SMA’s Sunny Boy inverters have all been held. With fuel bills continuing to rise and interest rates staying low, it has never been a better time to invest in energy saving technology. The new Sharp 245W Monocrystalline panels offer excellent value for money, increasing the KWP output of the array on areas where only a few panels can be fitted.
